Courses in :Mathematics, English and Physics
Welcome to Kiriri Women's University of Science and Technology (KWUST). KWUST is a non-state funded secular women's university founded on Christian values and operating under authority from the Government of Kenya.
Kiriri Women's university of Science and Technology is offering the following degree programmes:-
- Bachelor of Science(BSc) in Computer Science.
- Bachelor of Science(BSc) in Mathematics (Options - pure, Actuarial, Applied and Statistics)
- Bachelor of Science(BSc) in Business Administration (options:- Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business Management, Marketing, Purchasing and Supplies Management)
Entry Requirements
The student's secondary school record and national examination results are the most important admisssion credentials required. A basic guideline of the minimum entry requirements is summarised in the table below.

In addition to the above applicants must have a minimum grade of C in Mathematics, English or Kiswahili
BRIDGING COURSES
The bridging courses are intended to equip school leavers with skills in Mathematics, English and Physics which are prerequisite for courses at the university and other tertiary institutions. The bridging courses in each discipline takes into account the deficiencies of the secondary school leavers and reduces the gap between their secondary education and the expectation at university.
The course is not intended to be an alternative to K.C.S.E. The course has been developed for applicants with a mean grade of C+ but do not meet the departmental requirements.
The bridging courses will be offered through the year on the following schedule.
- March - May
- July - September
MATHEMATICS BRIDGING COURSE
Objectives
The course is intended to:-
- Upgrade secondary school leavers' competence in Mathematics in order to attain the entry qualification for courses in the University and tertiary institutions.
- Improve the candidate's mathematics skills and confidence in applying mathematical techniques.

- KMA 0101 Algebra
- KMA 0102 Vectors and Geometry
- KMA 0103 Statistics and Probability
- KMA 0104 Business Mathematics
- KMA 0105 Calculus
